PROJECTS WE SUPPORT
SUPPORTED PROJECTS
POPUP gives young people in South Africa an individual and professional future. Their education programme enables a generation marked by poverty and a lack of prospects to take on self-responsibility and become positive role models in their community.
The ILoveBoobies Charity aims to provide education and clinical screening for South African women with limited access to medical services. The organisation provides free breast screening for financially disadvantaged women and promotes public education and support.
100 % of every donation will go to the supported organisation and won‘t be used to finance our project costs.

You want to support us with your company by donating to POPUP – ILoveBoobies – Hoffnungswerk or the JAG Foundation?
We would be pleased to provide you with a detailed project description and, if you wish, establish direct contact with the organisations.
Our private costs for realising this project are ~16.000 €.
We are authorised to issue donation receipts for donations in accordance with § 10b EStG.
Every donation will be used as earmarked.

TEAM GER1
Gregor
Gregor Enns (47) is happily married to Lena and blessed beyond measure as a father of five children. Besides his job as a civil servant in the customs administration, he is a passionate photographer. In his free time, he finds compensation in mountain biking and road cycling to escape the stressful everyday life.
Eugen
Eugen Klassen (47) is happily married to Erika and the proud father of two teenagers. As a project manager in the pharmaceutical industry, he finds his perfect balance to the hectic working world by biking in nature.
THE TEAM - Support
Mario
Marketing / Foto / Video
Mario is a police officer and a passionate photographer and videographer. Due to his experience gained over the years, he is a very important support for this project.
Support on Site
We recruit local volunteers for logistical support on the ground, who support POPUP for years. They are not only practical angels but also irreplaceable links to the local South African community.
The team is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024.
Success stories
#weridecapeepic went to the start for the first time in 2022 with a different team composition.
Markus & Eugen reached the finish after 657 km and 17250 metres of altitude.
With this campaign, they were able to collect a total of ~68000 € in donations for POPUP and other educational projects in Africa.
#weridecapeepic went to the start again in 2025 with 4 Teams.
The rider reached the finish after 608 km and 16500 metres of altitude.
With this campaign, they were able to collect a total of ~100.000 € in donations for POPUP , I Love Boobies and other educational projects in Africa and Europe.
