Free Breast Cancer Screenings
ILoveBoobies’ primary mission is to provide free breast examinations (screening & diagnosis) to Southern African women who are unable to access such medical services due to financial, locational, or social challenges
Why it’s important
Breast cancer is the most prevalent cancer and a leading cause of death among South African women. The increasing incidence of breast cancer is a major health concern with 19.4 million women aged 15 years and older at-risk of contracting the disease
The African Reality
One in eight (13%) of all women anywhere, are at risk of contracting breast cancer. In Southern Africa, only 40% of those women diagnosed will survive, whilst in Western and European societies, over 90% will survive.
Mobile Clinic kit list
Vehicle, privacy gazebos, chairs,
screening bed, medical supplies, registration table, and laptop. Gifts for each woman screened and literature for her to take home.
Typical Screening Day
Our Mobile Screening Clinic travels to rural locations and farming communities in Southern Africa.
Educate the group of women to be screened.
Teach them to self examine.
Nurse examines each woman in private.
Abnormalites detected are referred to Radiology in the nearest town with facilities.

Each year in Southern Africa 47000 women should be detected for breast cancer, we estimate that just 10 000 are.
Since inception ILoveBoobies has screened over 8000 women in South Africa and Namibia.
Our Big Picture
- ILoveBoobies screenings teams deployed across Southern Africa, screening, educating and creating awareness that Breast Cancer can be beaten if detected early enough.
- Physical clinics in main centers where patients can be examined and counseled.
- Digital and mobile communication reminder service to check your breasts sent to all Southern African Women.
- Call in helpline and medical diagnosis to shortcut the waiting period at the state hospitals.

Women screened per year
Each Screening Clinic comprises of : Vehicle, privacy gazebos, chairs, screening bed, medical supplies, registration table, and laptop. Gifts for each woman screened and literature for her to take home. Operations cost per year for 2500 screenings. Each screening costs €15 per woman.
How you can help?
ILoveBoobies’ 2024-2026 objective is to provide free breast cancer screenings and test 10,000 South African women.
This could be accelerated by increasing the clinical screening teams to screen more women and make a significant impact.
To do so requires funding.
